Sweet Little Sock Monkey…

Happy New Year! I just came back from a great two week + vacation and I am hoping you all had the happiest of holiday celebrations and wishing you all a joyous new year! We have been quiet the past few weeks as we have been keeping extremely busy styling a few parties and of course hosting some  holiday celebrations! I am over the moon that I am finally able to share with you this adorable party I had been working on some adorable paper goods for. Sweet little Sebastian was turning one and his mommy is so creative! The theme was sock monkey; a theme I have always loved after seeing this adorable nursery, I always knew that if I ever had a little boy, this definitely would be a contender for nursery themes as I love everything vintage!

Sebastiam’s mommy went all out for this sweet little boy. No detail went untouched and everything tied in together so seamlessly!  I was so honored to be able to provide her with all her printable needs from invitations, to candy station tags, to banners, to 12 month cutouts,  water bottle labels,  centerpiece assembled cutouts and the list goes on and on! Look how gorgeous this sweet and special little boy’s party came out! He is definitely blessed to have an amazing mommy!

A beautiful party inspired by our Sock Monkey Collection now listed on our Etsy Shop! Check it out when you get a chance!

Mickey’s Not So Scary cont…

What a great vacation we had in Disney this past weekend. We all came together as a big family, party of 20, to celebrate my sweet niece’s birthday party. She had a blast, and it’s definitely a trip we will all remember :). I couln’t help but to swoon over all the Fall/Halloween decor that is up at Magic Kingdom. Although Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party was not going on this past weekend due to the Night of Joy event, the park was completely decorated in the their Halloween/Fall decor:

I love it so much, I wish I could back to Sophia’s birthday party last year, mentioned on my previous post, to get more ideas to share with her excellent party stylist who did a phenominal job decorating:

This has inspired me to get to work on the remaining items of our Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Inspired line. We already have our custom invites listed on our Etsy shop, but I am wrapping up on the remainder of the matching paper goods. Here is a sneak peak of the party circles template that will be available shortly. We will be offering these items as DIY (do-it-yourself) or already assembled. I can’t wait to complete and share this cuteness with you!

Hope you enjoyed the previews! Until then.. Stay Chic! Xo, Nic

Eeek Sweets! Halloween Treats continued…

Happy September everyone! Hope you all had a fantabulous Labor day weekend! I am so excited, I had an amazing weekend with much relaxation! I am even more excited because Labor day weekend is the unofficial end of summer which means that fall is finally here.. Can I get a WOHOO??! I woke up this morning and came across this amazing Halloween Inspired Polka Dot Cake . Although it’s only September, I cannot wait to take out and display all my halloween decor as this year I hope to stick to the theme that inspired our Eeek Sweets! Halloween Treats line we posted a few weeks back. This cake is THE utter most perfect compliment to what I invisioned my home decor to be: black, orange, purple, and green with a little bit of halloween fun in between ;). Check out SnowyBliss’ tutorial on how to make this adorable cake:

I am looking for some cute halloween inspired place card holders to display some of our matching paper goods around my house. I will be on the hunt the next few days to get this done so I can begin working around the house. Cannot wait to share the final outcome with you all. In the meantime, check out another sneak peek of our Eeek Sweets! Halloween Treats line posted in our Etsy shop:

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend! Until then…stay chic!

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E…

I am soo excited because in a little less than a week I will be at my FAVORITE place, Disney! yay! Our huge family is headed out there for a few days for my 1st little princess’ birthday, my niece Gaby. We all have been counting down the days for weeks now, and she is beyond excited to be able to celebrate it the way she wanted! We are truly blessed to have such a sweet little girl in our lives and that we have such easy access to the places that make her heart skip a beat. We couldn’t be going at a more perfect time either, as its time for me to get some additional inspiration for another party I am working on! A good friend of mine’s son will be turning one! Sweet little ACE, his name, loves him some Mickey so mommy & daddy decided that Mickey’s Mouse Clubhouse would be a perfect theme!  Now as much as the Disney characters are what make this show it’s show, i.e. Mickey, Minnie, etc., we cannot forget what a huge role Mickey’s clubhouse plays as well. So I have decided to concentrate the decor on what make’s this clubhouse come together and what makes Mickey him, his parts!!!  I will be incorporating his head, shorts, shoe and gloves for a magical touch. I will be looking to do the same with the other characters in this show but on how I will, I will keep that a secret for now :X.  Check out this adorable Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake from Thecupcakelicious! It’s exactly what I envisioned this party will be!

I cannot wait to December, it cannot come soon enough! Check out some sneak peeks of the paper goods we are working on for this magical party:

Our Mickey Magical parts line will be posted shortly to our Etsy shop! I cannot wait to style this party, M-I-C-K-E-Y  M-O-U-S-E is so special to my heart!

Until then..stay chic!

Anchor’s Away pt. 2 …

Our sweet cousin Austin’s birthday was this past weekend. The weather held up thankfully! Even though there was a 70% chance of rain, it rained in all the surrounding areas, but not at sweet Austin’s house! He had a blast and everyone fell in love with our Nautical themed candy station we styled for him. It was the perfect combination of fun and delicious treats for a hot but refreshing pool party celebration. I am so grateful to have been part of such a big party and a big celebration, Austin is officially a teenager :). Happy Birthday Austin..we love you!

Check out the rest of our Anchor’s Away Nautical DIY package that is now available on our Etsy shop. Although summer is almost over, I cannot wait to style more parties with this theme. It was a blast!

Ice Cream Social…

This has got to be one of the hottest summers of all time! Every time I turn on the news there will be “record-breaking” heat, not only here in South FL, but all over the nation.  I don’t know how much more of this heat any of us can take! There are definitely a few ways to keep cool. Water activities are great and fun, but please make sure to load up on your sun block! Ice cream is another great idea, not only is it delicious but it’s so refreshing too! Check out this amazing ice cream toppings lazy susan, isn’t it just adorable? And it’s definitely perfect for any of your ice cream socials!

A sweet friend of mine will be hosting an Ice Cream party this weekend, and in honor of it, she has asked me to design some matching paper goods for her. The colors of the party will be very summery: hot pink, orange, lime and aqua. Such yummy flavors for such a yummy theme! Here is a little sneak peek:

I will definitely be posting some pictures of her party once it’s all complete. As always, I am positive it’s going to be amazing as she outdoes herself every time! I also cannot wait to share the rest of our line with you, it will be posted to our Etsy shop shortly! Hope you enjoyed these previews. Until then…stay chic!

Be Our Guest….

I love anything and everything French, as you can see in my French Fashion House post. My sweet little Sophia is really into her Disney Princesses now. Her two favorite princesses are the moment are Cinderella and Belle. A few months back we changed over her room from a nursery to a “big girl” room and it was tough deciding on a theme. I knew wanted something that displayed her love for the Disney princesses, but something that was sweet, vintage, and something she can grow into over the years. At the time, we were living in place where her bedroom was big enough to double up as her play room as well. It was great because she was able to sleep, laugh, and play all in the same place. When browsing around my favorite store, Homegoods, I came across this adorable vintage cinderella off-white iron carriage. Once I picked it up, I KNEW RIGHT AWAY that vintage Cinderella would be it for the theme. I pictured using blue with touches of pink, for  soft girly touch. But just a few weeks later could not believe my eyes when Andrea from Dolce Drive posted a preview for her daughter Sabrina’s birthday. It was exactly what I wanted, but for Sophia’s room. I was so inspired when looking at all the amazing pictures of little Sabrina’s Royal luncheon that were posted on Hostess with the Mostess. They were absolutely breathtaking. And what was even more ironic, is that the SAME exact carriage decor I had purchased from Homegoods would be one of the focal points of Sabrina’s celebration:

Sabrina’s party really has been the best inspiration! Sophia’s bedroom is still a work in progress, as in between decorating we moved to a new place where now she has TWO rooms, a bedroom and a play room. For the past few weeks I have been struggling with the idea of having this theme spill over to her playroom. But after much research, keeping in mind how much she loves Beauty and the Beast as well, AND coming across these amazing Mrs. Potts cake balls from Bakarella, I decided to stick with the french/vintage theme BUT make her play room Beauty and the Beast Inspired. What a concept!

Now she can have the best of both worlds, Cinderella AND Belle. Some additional inspiration came from the the color combination for the new Belle costume available at your local Disney store. Especially the touch of the pink roses:

So her play room will consists of baby yellow, light pink, roses, off-white , and vintage pieces. It’s still a work in progress, but wow how great would this be as an accent piece?

I hope to complete both rooms in the near future, but for now she is definitely excited with the progress. She always asks to put on her “princess dress” and dances around both rooms with her princess wand. Hope you enjoyed some of my many inspirations! Decorating has always been a passion of mine, starting off with home decor!
