Beachside Bliss..Posted: August 3, 2011
In honor of our new blog, today I will be posting about some of the parties we have styled in the past, when styling was just a fun and exciting hobby to us. Beachside Bliss is especially close to my heart as it was one of the most important days of my lives, my wedding! A little over two years ago, on sunny and hot May morning, I became the mrs. My hubby and I opted for a small day wedding with all of our close family and few friends. Sharing a passion for the water, we initially wanted a destination wedding but opted out of it because it was too important to us that all of our close family attend. Being blessed to live in Miami, where the water is at everyone’s reach, we settled on a intimate beach themed wedding and brunch at one of Miami’s most famous seafood restaurant’s, The Rusty Pelican. Overlooking gorgeous waters, our ceremony was in the patio over looking the bay. Because our wedding AND reception would be during the day, I stuck with the wedding decor theme that I always wanted, classic beach. I had come across a beach wedding where the colors were light blue and tan, and I fell head over heals with it. So the center of my decor was the blue with some beach themed accents. It was simple but classy, and I couldn’t love it anymore. So excited to share with you some of the items we styled (we styled my whole ENTIRE wedding from beginning to end).
Enjoy! Until then…Stay Chic!
